Te Atatū Peninsula Business Improvement District (BID)

The Te Atatū Peninsula Business Improvement District was formed on July 16th, 2008 and is now one of 50 BIDs throughout Auckland. Local business and property owners agreed to work together to provide value to the collective business community by delivering a suite of economic activities. Auckland Council supports business associations operating BID programs as set out in the council BID Policy 2022.

The BID  is funded by way of a BID target rate grant, (see 2024 – 2025 budget) contributed to by the commercial property owners from within our BID area. This funding is granted to the Business Association to implement the districts’ strategic and business plans (Te Atatū Peninsula Business Association Strategic Plan 2024 – 2027) and encourages local economic growth by way of promotions, branding, events and business support.

Our BID Boundary encompasses the Peninsula town centre, from the Te Atatū Rd / Yeovil Rd intersection, through to Kaumatua Reserve in the north, and including Gunner Drive and Pringle Rd.
