For everyone who works or wants to work with dogs, A practical and theory course that includes: understanding dog body language, aggression and reactivity, common dog problems, basic obedience training, group management, plus much more..
With the rise in popularity and necessity of dog walkers as a vital service too many pet dog owners it is important that owners have the reassurance that their dog walker knows what they are doing and their dog is in safe hands.
The course consists of 4 online zoom classes and 2 onsite classes at the College. For the Saturday classes, student are required to bring a dog and their lunch.
Term 1 March / April class dates
Online zoom lessons 03 & 10 March 6:30pm – 8pm
Onsite at Rutherford College with your dog- 20, 27 March 10:15am to 2:15pm

Dogs MUST be dog and people friendly in a group environment, no aggressive or reactive dogs, if your dog is required to wear a muzzle for breed, please ensure you have the correct and appropriate sized muzzle. Dogs must also be fully vaccinated and of sound health, if your unsure if your dog is suitable please contact the trainer – Liz Clough training@k9services.co.nz
