For Businesses …

  • Essential Businesses and Services

To see the businesses and services that can operate at Alert Level 4, by sector, click HERE.

  • Face Masks

You legally must wear a face covering if you are a customer or an employee involving customer contact at a business or service operating at Alert Level 4. Read more HERE

  •  Mandatory Record Keeping

Mandatory record keeping (scanning QR codes with the COVID-19 Tracer App or making a manual record) is being introduced for busy places and large gatherings. This will likely include cafes, restaurants, bars,  barbers, gyms, libraries and other places where people gather consistently and in large numbers. It has been reported that this will become effective seven days after any change in Alert Level settings that might allow more businesses to open or gatherings to go ahead.
