Sewing – Beyond Beginners

Suitable for students with some basic sewing skills. Work on your own garments with assistance from our highly experienced and knowledgeable tutor. Create your own fashion clothing or soft furnishings. Tips and techniques for a professional finish. Sewing machines provided in class.

Please also bring to the first class: A pattern, material, pins, cotton thread and a tape measure.Most fabric stores are very helpful, so if you are unsure about a suitable patten or material they will be able to help you.

Course Prerequisites
If you have never operated a sewing machine, we suggest that you start with the Sewing for Beginners course that is offered on a Tuesday night and provides step-by step lessons on simple projects.
