The Peninsula TeamUp 2 CleanUp community event on March 12th, aims to clean up streets and areas at the end of Te Atatu Peninsula, starting from Taikata Sailing Club.
Earth Action Trust are suppling the gear needed, such as hi-vis vests, gloves, litter grabbers, rubbish bags, sorting bins, sun block and hand sanitiser.
At the event, there will be a health and safety briefing and when the waste has been gathered, the trust will sort it all then recycle or dispose of it properly. The event will be followed with a BBQ thanks to sponsorship by Harcourts Te Atatu and Countdown Te Atatu Peninsula.
